Freedom Fest is an event planned by the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose objective is to enhance the quality of life for the Veterans living in the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home. This event includes music by St. Louis band Dazed N Confused, local Cape Girardeau band GenX, and country recording artist Chris Janson. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Proceeds from this concert event go to directly serve the Veterans at the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home.
